Q: Where is the workshop?
A: The workshop will be held online. You can join the webinar on the day on the day of the workshop, see Program.
Q: When is the workshop?
A: The one-day workshop will be held in conjunction with ICCV 2021, and will take place on October 16, 2021.
Q: How do I attend the workshop?
A: The workshop is fully virtual. You can join the webinar on the day on the day of the workshop, see Program.
Q: Where will the accepted submissions be published?
A: The workshop format is non-archival, and as such will not appear in the official ICCV proceedings. We will, however, publish the submissions here on the workshop’s website.
Q: How do I cite a paper from the workshop?
A: Please use the following convention: “ICCV Workshop on Computer Vision for Augmented and Virtual Reality, Montreal, Canada, 2021.”
For accepted submissions
Q: How should videos be formatted?
A: Videos can be in only one format: MP4 video 1920x1080p in H264 compression. Videos should be no more than 2 minutes in length.
Q: What should videos include?
A: All videos should have narration. You may get someone else to do your voice over. Human narration is preferred but text-to-speech (TTS), is allowed if it makes the video easier to understand.
All videos should have a title slide. Talk slides should be converted to video if prepared in PowerPoint. You are free to use picture-in-picture.
Submit your video through CMT as a supplementary file.
